Standards and EN/ISO governing the use of SW materials in Ukraine

At the moment, Ukraine has a national standard based on the European standard EN ISO 12944:2018 consisting of 9 parts.

The ISO 12944 standard is one of the main regulatory documents for professionals working in the field of paint and varnish coatings (LKP). The standard deals with various aspects of the protection of steel structures using paint systems and is currently the only document that establishes the relationship between the service environment of the pavement, service life and the paint system.

By order of the National Standardization Body No. 500 of December 28, 2020, national standards were adopted, harmonized with European and international standards, by the translation method, while maintaining the year of the first adoption of these European and international standards as a national confirmation method, with effect from November 01, 2021 , in particular:
